Greece isn’t really thought of as a snowy,
winter ski destination

Mount Parnassos will correct that image. Located in Central Greece,
very close to Delphi and the quaint traditional villages of Amfikleia,
Polydrosos , Arachova being the best place to base yourself
(excellent for ski - nicknamed the Mykonos of the mainland), Mount
Parnassos has been offering skiing and snowboarding since the
1990’s. From beginners to seasoned professionals, there are runs for
every level, plus ski schools. If taking long walks across the terrain in
the spring, summer and autumn times is more your thing, Parnassos
is the place to come for this too. With numerous trails for trekking
and Hiking for all levels, its high altitude ensures beautiful views
through the pine forests all the way to Galaxidi on the coast.
